How are teams created for competition?
For basketball, teams are randomly generated based on class and height. We're currently working on improvements to this process — over the next few months we'll be rolling out an update to incorporate player rankings into team creation.
Can I create my own teams?
No — see above. This isn't something we can scale that way, but we appreciate the feedback.
Can I request a change to date, time, or location after it's set for the upcoming season?
Direct these requests to jenna@prepnetwork.com. Several factors go into these decisions — we welcome and appreciate all feedback, but that doesn't mean we'll always change the showcase. Please be as detailed as possible on the why when you reach out.
I have a coach interested in working — who do I contact?
Direct these requests staffing@prepnetwork.com, When reaching out, include:
- brand name
- event date
- location
- first and last name
- phone number
All staff must be 18+, professional in appearance and communication, physically capable of handling event demands, and either familiar with Prep Network standards or willing to be briefed beforehand.
Why aren't there more college coaches at events?
An event just happened in my region. How do I share feedback on the run of show, dates, or anything else?
Feedback is always welcome, but we ask that you come with specifics and solutions rather than general statements. Instead of "the event wasn't good" or "the staff wasn't great," tell us exactly who underperformed, which directors or staff members should not be invited back, and what specifically didn't work in the run of show.
If the facility wasn't the right fit, let us know and suggest alternatives. The more specific and solution-oriented your feedback is, the more actionable it becomes for our team.
This kind of detailed input directly shapes how we build the next event schedule. Some changes can be made across an entire series right away, while others may need to wait until the current series wraps before we can implement them. Either way, don't hesitate to reach out; we take all feedback seriously and will analyze it and make adjustments wherever we can.
I have someone interested in directing an event — who do I contact?
We currently have Regional Operations Managers who hire all of our directors, so please see the map below and reach out to them directly. When reaching out, include:
- brand name
- event date
- location
- first and last name
- phone number
